About me
I am an accredited CBT and EMDR psychotherapist working in Edinburgh and online.
As a therapist, I like to work with people who want to take the time to develop a deep understanding of themselves & build the skills & insight that will support them to live a better life. In therapy sessions, we will spend time understanding your current problems and figure out how they came about to look at long term solutions.
I have extensive experience in working with common mental health difficulties as well as treating complex psychological problems. My approach to the work is a blend of relational therapies, CBT & EMDR but I am comfortable adapting therapy to the needs of the people I work with. I have years of experience in treating depression, low self-esteem, generalised anxiety, panic, OCD, eating disorders, phobias, health anxiety & trauma. Please feel free to look at my website and my social media pages to get a better sense of who I am and the work I do.
To get things going, I offer a discounted 30-minute consultation at £30 in which we can explore what is happening for you and discuss how we can work together.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you along your way. The best way to contact me is by email so you can either write to me via this site or go over to my website and contact me through that.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
