About me
Hello and a warm welcome to my profile…
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or low? Perhaps you’re struggling with a relationship, a life transition, or facing feelings of stress, burnout, or grief. You don’t have to face this alone, if you’re looking for a safe and supportive space to talk things through, I may be the right counsellor for you.
Life can feel incredibly tough at times, and it’s normal to need extra support. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or feelings of being stuck, I’m here to help. Perhaps you’re experiencing difficulties in a relationship—be it romantic, family, or friendships—or you’re coming to terms with a significant loss or change. Whatever you’re facing, I offer a caring, non-judgemental space where we can explore what’s troubling you.
Areas I Work With:
I have experience with a wide range of issues, including:
• Anxiety (please see my article: 10 ways to help manage anxiety https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk/articles/10-ways-to-help-manage-anxiety)
• Depression and low mood
• Relationship challenges (romantic relationships, family dynamics, and parent/child issues)
• Grief and loss (I am hospice-trained in bereavement support)
• ADHD support (I provide neuroinclusive support for adults who are diagnosed, awaiting diagnosis, or exploring this possibility)
My Approach:
I offer a friendly, compassionate, and relaxed environment where you can feel truly heard. My aim is to help you:
• Gain greater self-awareness
• Process difficult emotions
• Find solutions to help you move forward with confidence and clarity
As a person-centred therapist, I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to work alongside you with empathy and kindness, helping you reconnect with your strengths and navigate the challenges you’re facing. Together, we can work towards building self-compassion, addressing self-care, and finding ways to lighten emotional burdens that may not be serving you.
Why Work With Me?
• Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)
• Fully insured with enhanced DBS clearance
• Anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirmative
• Committed to ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest therapeutic approaches
Next Steps:

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
