About me
Hello and a warm welcome to my profile.
Briefly about me and how I work - I am a qualified counsellor with BA (Hons) in Counselling, and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have practiced as a psychotherapeutic counsellor for over fourteen years; I work in supporting clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, addictions, relationship issues, trauma, poor relationship with food and poor self-image. My therapeutic approach is based on Person-Centred Therapy and I use Solution-Focused interventions in my work with clients.
I offer a free initial 30min session to all my clients; this gives you an opportunity to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
My counselling fee thereafter is £50 for a 50 minute session and I offer daytime and evening appointments.
My practice is based in Fleet, Hampshire in a comfortable, safe, calm and private setting in my home; I offer face-to-face and online sessions.
To book your free initial counselling session, please call or text message me on 07775 904 832 or contact me via email.
Dealing with emotional difficulties can be a very lonely and debilitating experience, often preventing you from leading a fulfilling life, and usually affecting various areas of your life - relationships, health, work, personal achievements and more. Counselling can help you gain insight into the causes of your experiences and feelings and enables you to create new mechanisms for coping with the challenges.
The aim of counselling is to enable positive changes; it is a process where my role is to develop a safe, non-judgemental, supportive and healing relationship with you, in which I will engage with empathy, warmth and willingness to understand the world the way you see it.
Counselling is often a challenging process where courage and openness are necessary for change to occur. I work with the belief that only you know how you can improve your life, or change the way you feel, and my role in this process is to help you to uncover the path you need to take.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
