About me

Does life feel quite overwhelming? Are you struggling with your identity? Are you finding it difficult to cope? You may be struggling to make sense of your world and your place in the world and trying to answer the 'who am I?, why am I here?' questions. You may have experienced childhood trauma which you are trying to make sense of. Life can feel challenging with ups and downs. We face unexpected situations that test our resilience and ability to cope. These challenges can impact on relationships, self esteem, work. family etc. We are not equipped to figure it all out alone.
I can offer you a safe space to explore your inner world and make sense of what happened to you. I can support you to find your inner voice and build confidence. I specialise in trauma and PTSD, work related mental health challenges, anxiety/depression. I work integratively and will aim to ensure my approach is tailored to your needs.
My core methodology is person-centred which puts your needs as the client at the heart of the support. I will offer you empathy, authenticity and a non-judgemental place to talk through your thoughts and feelings. I would love to hear from you and establish a meaningful relationship with you based on trust and acceptance.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
