Tracy Latham (MBACP Accred)
I recognise that when we are struggling it can be difficult to reach out for help even though we may feel very alone. I am an experienced, qualified, compassionate, collaborative and creative counsellor and offer individual and couples counselling. I provide a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to express and explore what is happening in your life. This may help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself, your feelings and your relationships and enable you to make more informed choices, as well as providing you with support.
I believe that our emotional and mental health play a very important but often under emphasized role in promoting a sense of well being. I am experienced in working with a wide variety of issues and recognise that some people have very specific symptoms but others have a general malaise or low mood. Others have lived with underlying stress, generalized anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioural patterns, grief or low self esteem for many years.
The first step is often the hardest to take but getting some help can be a great relief. So please do get in contact by telephone or email if you would like to explore the possibility of working together. We can then arrange a time for an initial consultation. At the end of this we can decide whether further sessions with me are likely to be helpful for you at this time. I believe that investing in your own well being is a wise and courageous choice.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
