About me
Hello, I’m Tracey
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, you have taken the important first step towards looking for the support you need and deserve at this point in your life.
Life can become complicated and overwhelming at times – this happens to most of us at some point. It may be that you are feeling anxious, unhappy, or struggling to cope with health, work or relationship worries, I can help.
I know from my own experience of counselling how hard the first step can be, but I also know how rewarding it can be – I am here, ready to support you in your own counselling journey at a pace that suits you. In a judgement free and safe space, you will be able to explore your thoughts and feelings honestly and feel truly heard. This will allow you to improve your self-esteem and effect positive change, to be able to live the life you want.
How counselling can help
The counselling relationship is unique, one where you will feel respected and understood. Counselling can lead you to make sense of what is going on for you and find answers to your problems. By putting your needs first, you will become empowered to feel more in control of your life and able to establish improved boundaries, in turn, this will have a positive impact on your wellbeing.
What to expect in our first session
It’s normal to feel a little apprehensive before your first appointment, however with a warm welcome I will do my utmost to help you feel relaxed and at ease. The first session is about getting to know each other where we can discuss what it is that has brought you to counselling and maybe what your expectations might be.
Experience and Training
I work with clients of varying ages who present with a diverse range of issues such as; low mood, stress, and loss. Having experience working in a local hospice has given me an insight into working with grief.
