About me

Are you or your child struggling at present?

At times we all experience symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, concerns about our mental health, anger, low self esteem or have family or relationship issues which make us feel alone and scared.

Perhaps you question if you have ADHD or Autism?

You might have reached your middle years and have begun re evaluating your life?

Thoughts and emotions can feel overwhelming and this can make it difficult for us to move forward and enjoy life.

Talking to an experienced therapist can help you to understand and alleviate these feelings. It gives you space to think and reflect on how you would prefer things to be. You can learn new strategies  and techniques so that thinking becomes easier.

Why not book an initial session, without obligation, to see if  counselling would work for you?

It we might be help with specific issues such as bereavement, addiction, eating disorders, unhealed trauma, that you need, I can offer a bespoke therapy package tailored to those needs.

We will seek to understand the problems you are facing, whether this is caused by current issues or events from your past and together we look at how we might alleviate them . We will use your existing strengths and find new skills  which help the process. You will come to understand yourself better and develop a tool kit of ideas to empower yourself in the future

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
