About me

I am a supportive and empathic counsellor offering a safe and welcoming space where you may explore whatever brings you to counselling. With an empathic and non judgemental approach I will listen with understanding & compassion. It may be that you are experiencing difficulties in your life, feeling stressed, anxious or depressed. You may feel the need for a place to talk about something you are struggling with. Whatever is troubling you - may be unearthed within the safety of our therapeutic relationship. I will listen and support you towards personal growth & change.

With my training across a blend of therapeutic methods coupled with my counselling experience, I tailor my approach depending on your own needs.

We are all unique so why wouldn't your therapy also be unique to you too.

As a qualified & experienced Humanistic Counsellor I offer a blended approach from my training in Person Centred, Gestalt, & Transactional analysis. Connecting feelings & emotions, with mind and body, through an embodied, holistic approach.

I am a registered member of BACP, which is the governing body overseeing standards and ethical principles for practicing counsellors.

I can offer a complimentary and introductory 20 min zoom call before we meet, where we can assess how counselling may be helpful, how I work along with any questions you may have. I will be interested to understand your reasons for seeking counselling, any prior counselling experiences or psychological health services. We can discuss the contract terms, fees and arrange our first session during this call.

I work from therapy rooms based in Richmond TW9 (Greater London/Surrey) and online/telephone.

I can support you with Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Family Issues, Grief, Health related issues, Lack of Direction, Low Confidence, Low Self-Esteem, Loss, Personal development and growth, PTSD/post-traumatic stress, Relational Issues, Self-worth, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues.

Each session is 50 minutes, I work in person & online/telephone.

Sessions are usually on a weekly basis.

I work with adults 18 years and over.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
