Susan is an integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist and with her foundations being person centred and incorporating different therapeutic approaches to suit each individual's uniqueness. She gives clients the opportunity to work through and help them understand their thoughts and feelings in a warm and safe environment, helping empower them to gain acceptance/control over experiences (past and present) and situations that are effecting their quality of life. Clients can explore what they need confidentially, and at their own pace without being judged.
In addition Susan provides Play Therapy (child friendly therapy for children aged 3-11).
Susan is able to use play therapy and sand tray therapy skills where appropriate and if the client is happy to embrace it. When words are hard to find this therapy can bridge the gap and enable communication via non verbal communication.
Susan has experience working with abuse, self harm, low self esteem, attachment, depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, stress, trauma, separation/divorce, eating disorders, sexual health and reproduction and many more.
