About me

If you're reading this then life probably isn't going the way you would like and trying to find the solution is adding to the distress.  When searching for a counsellor my first suggestion is go by referral. Ask a friend or colleague who has experienced quality counselling. A trusted friend is the right person to ask.

If you are reading this part then perhaps the above wasn't any use to you. Help from a qualified and experienced counsellor can help. One who will listen, not judge you, let you be you.

When we meet you'll have a quiet, warm and confidential space to explore the things that  are important to you; the things you want to change, the steps that led you to now and how they can be different for you when moving on. Always at your pace, on your own or with your partner. Most of the sessions offered are at the weekend, including evenings, although there are some weekday times available.

For me the process of being in front of a therapist was a mixture of fascination and insight, that changed aspects of my life.  I had experienced a crisis and was supported through it by a compassionate and capable counsellor.  Having realised the impact counselling could make I joined Relate where I trained as a relationship therapist and then onto general counselling within the GP practices. During this time I developed a special interest in working with older teenagers.

With over 30 years of helping people untangle the problem into something manageable, I offer a  warm, confidential place where you will not be judged and will be heard; working always at your own pace.

Daytime Thursday and Friday £45

Counselling is not a cure all , but when it works it changes lives.
