About me
Hello and welcome! I'm an experienced integrative psychotherapist and currently training in Nature allied psychotherapy. Why chose Nature therapy?
Nurturing our relationship with nature is key for maintaining our mental wellbeing.
Spending time in nature has many health benefits and been shown to reduce stress levels, support physical as well as mental health, promote relaxation. Nature therapy can provide a calming and grounding environment for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or feelings of overwhelm, alleviate symptoms of depression and experiences of trauma.
Nature therapy can be valuable for individuals who are interested in personal growth, self-reflection, and exploring their relationship with the natural world. Nature provides a rich metaphorical landscape for exploring themes of change, resilience, transformation and belonging.
I am a passionate advocate for holistic well-being, blending the principles of psychotherapy with the healing powers of nature. With a deep-rooted belief in the interconnectedness between mental health and natural environment , my approach to therapy integrates evidence-based practices with outdoor experiences to foster healing, growth, and connection.
My approach is collaborative and relational, actively acknowledging and respecting each individual's cultural beliefs and values. Additionally, I recognize the impact of race, gender, sexuality, religion, socio-economic circumstances, power and ability amongst others as well as current events in the world on the client's experiences and well-being. I strive to ensure that therapy is tailored to the unique needs and perspectives of each person, fostering a safe and supportive environment for exploration, healing, and growth.
