If you're struggling with any aspect of the Corona virus/Covid 19 please don't struggle alone. Get in touch so we can figure out how I can support you through these unnerving times.
I am aware that considering counselling can be a daunting experience but you've taken that first all important step towards helping yourself by looking for someone who can help.
If you can relate to any of the below questions then maybe counselling could help.
- Are you struggling with a difficult decision? Or feel guilty about the decisions you make?
- Do you worry about what other people think of you and worry that friends or family members will judge you if you talk them? Or maybe you often feel misunderstood.
- Do you often feel worried, anxious, low or out of sorts but don't know why?
- Do you sometimes find that every day life challenges are overwhelming and you don't know where or who to turn too?
- Or maybe you're grieving the loss of a friend/family member and feel life is difficult or you have overwhelming feelings now that special person is no longer around.
- Or find communicating with your partner difficult, almost like you're talking different languages and don't know how to get your relationship back on track.
Many people enter therapy knowing what they want to work on, while others don’t. Either way finding the right counsellor is essential. I am aware that deciding on and meeting a therapist for the first time can be an overwhelming experience for most people. That's why I offer a reduced cost initial session so you can decide if I'm the right fit for you and I can decide if I'm in a position to help you.
If you'd like to talk about your situation, ask any questions or raise any concerns, please text or phone me on 07517 644 540 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

My counselling room is located on the ground floor making it accessible to those with mobility issues. It's also set in the small village of Pinxton overlooking the countryside. Although in a small village, Pinxton has easy access from the M1 (Junction 28) and A38 as well as being situated on a main bus route providing easy access from most surrounding towns and villages.
There is plenty of off road parking.
