Sally Richards MBACP
I believe therapy to be a beginning, an opportunity for understanding, self-acceptance, personal growth and change. In the fast-paced world where we live, we often do not treat ourselves with the same kindness, compassion and understanding as we treat others. This can often take a toll on how we feel, function and relate to others.
Therapy gives you time for you, to explore what you are feeling and why you are feeling a certain way, this enabling you to understand your needs to move to a more fulfilled and happier way of being.
Therapy can help with easing feelings that you are experiencing in the present but also offer insight into where those feelings originated from, identifying outdated coping strategies and assisting with the self-empowerment to break away from inhibiting patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
I have a particular interest in relationships and how we are in relationships, as this can have a huge impact on our personal wellbeing.
What to expect
Each session is 50 minutes in length and I offer short term counselling, where we define a set amount of sessions or long term, where the counselling offered is ongoing and we work to an end when it feels appropriate to do so.
For couples & relationship counselling, I offer 90 minute sessions as well as 50 minutes.
Please call 07512 117726 or submit an email using the email button above to find out more information. I always offer and welcome an introductory telephone chat, so you can find out more about me and the way I work.
