About me
My approach is committed to providing a confidential, non-judgemental space to help individuals process and understand the emotional and psychological difficulties that may be causing them distress.
I am a counselling psychologist working integratively using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
I specialise in addiction, anxiety, depression and other mood problems, and personality disorders. I am also experienced in working with appearance issues, anger, grief, obsessions and compulsions, self-harm, and stress. My practice is trauma-informed.
I am registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am also a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Division of Counselling Psychology (DoCP).
I adhere to the ethical guidelines of the BPS and HCPC.

British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
