About me

Life can be tough sometimes and we can easily find ourselves stuck in cycles of unhelpful thinking or behaving. My aim is to help you to become unstuck and access a healthier, happier version of yourself. You may not know exactly how or why things aren't working, so an initial assessment can help us to figure this out together. I believe that we all possess the knowledge and resources to address our problems - I see my role as helping you to unlock this knowledge, access these skills, and acquire some additional tools along the way.

I offer a warm, friendly, collaborative approach. Alongside my core training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, my specialisms lie within Compassion-Focused Therapy for Low Self Esteem. I am also studying for a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I like to integrate different counselling approaches where I feel it might be useful.

CBT can be an incredibly effective form of therapy for Depression, Anxiety and many other issues. It can be difficult to take the first step to getting help and also difficult to navigate all of the options, so I offer a free initial telephone chat to help you make sense of it all and consider whether CBT would be right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over ten years of experience working within adult mental health, first as a mental health social worker before retraining as a CBT therapist in 2018.

  • PGDip CBT from Kings College London, graduated 2019
  • Social Work (MA) from Goldsmiths College London, graduated 2012
  • Social and Cultural Studies (BA) from Nottingham University, graduated 2006
