About me
Hello and welcome to my profile. I offer a supportive space where, whatever's on your mind, I'll listen with warmth and without judgement, helping you get to where you want to be.
I can help you if you're experiencing anxiety, depression, or stress, perhaps affected by your present circumstances or by past experiences. You might be feeling overwhelmed or worried about relationships, family issues, or work. You might be looking for a way to understand and work through difficult thoughts and feelings, to explore new directions, and to find more self-confidence and fulfilment in your life.
I'm an integrative therapist, combining different types of therapy to focus on your individual needs, hopes and aims.
My sessions are held in comfortable rooms in Archway / Tufnell Park and in Camden, in-person or online. I also provide walk and talk or nature therapy in north London and in central London parks. Please see my website (link above) for more about outdoor sessions.
Some of the ways I can help you
- Talking things through in therapy can help you make sense of confusing or conflicting thoughts and feelings.
- I'll help you explore new perspectives, allowing you to understand yourself better and find new meanings.
- Insights into patterns of behaviour can be empowering, helping you to develop healthier ways of relating and to create new narratives.
- Many of us go through life with the voice of an inner critic inside us, feeling we’re not good enough. Therapy can increase your self-compassion and self-acceptance, which, in turn, can tackle procrastination and perfectionism at their roots.
- Sometimes, painful or traumatic experiences get lodged inside us and it's hard to express how we feel. I offer a calm and supportive space, so, when you feel ready, you can talk about what has happened to you - in your own time and at your own pace.
Therapy is a collaborative process and, as each individual is unique, we can adapt sessions to your needs and goals. The space I provide - whether online, indoors or out in nature - is for you to explore whatever’s on your mind, so please contact me to discuss possibilities.
First steps
I understand it can be hard to look for support and choose the right therapist, so I offer a complimentary 15-minute call for you to let me know your hopes and aims. Please use the links on this page to contact me and I'll get back to you to arrange a time that suits you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’very worked in the charity sector as well as in private practice, with clients bringing a variety of issues to therapy, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, distressing childhood experiences, grief and loss. I’m experienced in supporting clients through the perinatal period and parenthood, with the life changes these can bring.
I’m a qualified ecotherapist, facilitating therapeutic conversation in nature, and can hold outdoor walk and talk sessions with you by arrangement.
I’m a member of the BACP and work in accordance with their ethical guidelines, which include a requirement to undertake regular supervision and training.
I’ve completed professional development training in a range of topics, including: anxiety, bereavement, shame, trauma, existential approaches, climate change anxiety, ADHD awareness; perinatal, postnatal and parenting support.
I’m based in therapy rooms in north London and in central London; I can also provide online sessions if you’re unable to travel, or outdoor sessions after an initial consultation.
Walk and talk or nature therapy
In addition to my indoor practice, as a qualified and experienced outdoor therapist, I offer walk and talk therapy (or sitting if preferred) in central London and north London parks. Being in green spaces and by water has been shown to enhance physical and mental well-being. Walking or sitting side by side can benefit those who feel less comfortable in a therapy room. I've found that therapy in natural spaces can help those who are suffering anxiety, depression, and grief or loss, because it provides some serenity and moments to look around us, gently. It can also benefit those with ADD or ADHD, as movement and the sights and sounds around us can sometimes help focus.
Taking therapy outdoors can help us connect with our experience of being human in an uncertain world, helping us find ourselves in times of confusion, pain or stress.
Sometimes, clients wish to try a combination of online sessions and walk and talk therapy, perhaps beginning indoors then moving outdoors later on. Please take a look at my outdoor, nature therapy website (see link above) and contact me to talk about what you feel best suits you.
Perinatal and parent support
I've worked as a parenting mentor and as a counsellor for Home Start, the UK-wide organisation helping families with children through difficulties. I’m experienced in supporting parents through the perinatal and postnatal periods of parenthood, and can offer one-to-one therapy for new parents navigating the life changes these can bring.
Climate change and eco-anxiety
I offer support for anxiety about ecological issues and climate change, where outdoor walk and talk can offer connection with nature alongside a supportive space for individual therapy. Please see my website (link at top of page) for more information and contact me for an introductory call.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
