About me

Stop building on shaky ground. Let’s create the core strength that holds you steady, no matter what.

As a qualified Psychotherapist and expert in confidence building, I combine cutting-edge Psychology with an instinctive understanding of what it takes to find and strengthen your Psychological core.

The dark and cold of winter can heighten anxiety and self-doubt, leaving you feeling 'not good enough' and prone to self-sabotage. Outwardly, you may seem successful, but without authentic, meaningful connections, something still feels missing, and a lack of confidence holds you back from being your true self.

You can’t fake what’s real. Real confidence comes from within — from knowing, trusting, and building your core sense of self. At the heart of my work is the concept of core strength. I help clients rediscover and strengthen their core selves, building confidence that comes from deep inner strength, rather than from external validation or appearances.

In a world that constantly pushes us to idolise external success, many people live disconnected from their true selves, relying on external validation to feel confident.

My approach helps you shift from an "idolised" version of yourself — shaped by appearances and expectations — to living as your ideal self, rooted in core strength, authenticity, and inner resilience. Building an unshakable core strength and confidence comes from truly knowing who you are.

Through scientifically-backed methods and deep insight into the human psyche, I guide my clients to rebuild their core strength and confidence from the inside out.

This is confidence that lasts — built from within, grounded in who you truly are, not just what the world sees.

How I Work

As a duel registered, qualified Psychotherapist and Associate Psychologist, my work is grounded in evidence-based Psychology, that creates deep understanding of the human psyche. This approach helps clients rebuild their core identity by shifting from an external, idolised self-image to their true, ideal selves. This creates real, lasting confidence transformations.

Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and relationships are shaping your present and sabotaging your future. Tapping into the human psyche, uncovering the layers of your identity, creates opportunities to rebuild your core identity. Clarifying your core sense of self, can unlock your full potential, building resilience and confidence that enables you to stand firm no matter what life brings.

This deep exploration enables clients to reconfigure behaviours that undermine their confidence and core strength, facilitating meaningful, lasting changes aligned with their true selves. My approach goes beyond superficial confidence and focuses on developing core strength and confidence grounded in identity, assertive action, and authentic self-worth.

Combining expert knowledge, warmth, and empathy, I help my clients stop chasing external validation and instead build the inner strength that comes from living as their ideal selves.

The world tells you to look confident; I’ll help you be confident, by building a core that won’t crack under pressure.

What Happens Next?

One-to-one Psychotherapy is for those ready for deep, life-changing transformation, moving from surface-level poise to unshakable core confidence.

Research shows that a strong, authentic connection between therapist and client is as vital as the therapist’s approach and expertise, for achieving meaningful therapy outcomes.

To make sure we’re a good fit, I offer a Complimentary Consultation call, where we can discuss your therapy needs and goals, address any questions you have, and create a personalised plan for your path forward.

The Benefits of Psychotherapy

As an Integrative Psychotherapist and Associate Psychologist, I draw from Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and CBT theories, exploring the root causes of pain and distress by delving into past experiences. This process unveils insights into dysfunctional behaviours, explaining their origins. Psychotherapy can fill developmental deficits, fostering empowerment and enabling the relearning of functional coping mechanisms. Combining extensive experience,  genuine passion and a wealth of knowledge with warmth, empathy and expert guidance enables my clients to overcome anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. As a Mental Health and Psychological Therapies Lecturer, I've contributed to national developments through research and taught trainee professionals.

Gaining a deep understanding of yourself and your difficulties can enable a clearer sense of your identity and sense of purpose. Many clients come to me having been told that medication is the solution to their struggles with confidence. I help them move from masking their issues with medication to finding real meaning and core strength, addressing the root causes of their challenges and rebuilding their self-worth.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Online Psychotherapy

I currently offer both in person and online therapy. Both are effective ways to get the support you need. If you feel quietly distressed and anxious at the prospect of leaving your home, you can access therapy from the sanctuary of your armchair without having to manage a busy schedule, the travel or parking.

Online counselling have been shown to be effective as face to face counselling. This safe, hassle free and confidential method provides a convenient and safe way for you to get the support you need, right now.

And if you prefer to meet face-to-face, I offer appointments at two locations and we can discuss which venue would suit your needs and schedule.
