About us

Reframe is a progressive, forward thinking Counselling and Psychotherapy practice, actively engaging with difference. We provide therapeutic support, education and advocacy for individuals who experience the world through an alternative lens.

Our work centres around supporting individuals 18+ who experience feelings of ‘difference’ and ‘otherness’ when relating socially with others.

Training, qualifications & experience

We are a growing qualified team of therapists managed from our base in Bristol UK and available to clients across the UK.

All of our therapists are experienced and knowledgeable practitioners within the field of counselling, psychotherapy and psychology. We are all registered with a governing body (e.g. BACP, NCS, UKCP) with a strong focus on continued professional development through in-house training and regular supervision both 1:1 and peer.

All of our therapists have lived experience of difference in some way, so that you receive the up most care, compassion and understanding in your therapy sessions from therapists who respect and understand your unique frame of reference.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
