About me
Are you tired of fighting with yourself? Are you surviving rather thriving? Do you want to develop a new and healthier relationship with yourself and be able to understand and accept yourself in a new way, building confidence, reconnecting with your true self, and develop the ability to make positive changes in your life? It all starts with have a safe space and supportive guidance. Life can often bring us challenges we did not ask for, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, traumatised, withdrawn, confused, lost or trapped in our own thoughts and feelings about ourself and the world. We often need a safe space to pause, reflect and make sense of what is happening within us. I am passionate about supporting adults and young people 14+ to overcome internal challenges, by working together holistically, to deeply understand your past and current experiences and the impact it may have had on your life. I offer a warm, friendly and safe space for you to feel heard, to emerge from behind the mask we so often show to the world, a space to just 'be you', and express the unspoken thoughts, feelings and experiences that are causing you discomfort.
Together we can develop a deeper understanding of what your are experiencing, improving the connection and relationship you have towards yourself, helping you to gain more control over your internal world for mental and emotional wellbeing. Working holistically, together we will explore both the mind, the way we think and the emotions and felt senses within our nervous system which are linked to our experiences such as: PTSD, triggers, trauma, depression, shame, panic, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Once we can begin to understand how our experiences, thoughts, beliefs, feelings and patterns of behaviour all interlink, we can invite positive change into our lives to improve our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
I can offer you interactive session's where we work together on your healing journey, with the option to include tools and techniques to enhance coping mechanisms, and build self-awareness as part of your own self-development, or we can simply just talk through and reflect on whatever is troubling you and find the answers deep within.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
