About me
Finding a therapist you connect with is probably the most important part of finding a therapist. I am extremely passionate about offering supportive and effective therapy that facilitates the change my clients are ultimately seeking to experience. I personally understand the challenges of Mental Health and the benefits of therapy.
Do you know the changes you are seeking or at least the areas of your life that aren't working as you wish they were?
Experience
I am an Integrative Counselling Therapist. I have 8+ years of training, 6 years of client experience and I'm in my fourth year of running a busy Private Practice.
My Approach
The therapy I offer is tailored to the individual needs of my clients. Integrative therapy means that I am qualified to use a range of approaches, which can be adapted specifically to suit each person I work with.
Have you thought about what you would or wouldn't like from your therapy experience?
I am warm, relatable and caring and I feel that our connection is an essential part of your therapy being a success. Our conversations will be insightful but most importantly, they will be confidential and without judgement. I'll offer you emotional safety with emphatic and honest insights. I am extremely supportive and committed to helping each and every one of my clients with whatever they bring to our work.
What would help you to feel a sense of connection?
Your Therapy
There is no right or wrong way to 'do' therapy. In my experience it's a process that evolves, uniquely with each person. With every session both you and I will discover more about the way you think, feel and behave. Gradually with exploration and insight you will become more self-aware and better equipped at coping with the challenges you came with.
Some clients use their time in therapy to address specific issues, whereas others take a less directive approach, gently exploring the confines of their mind. Whether you want to work in a solution driven, analytical manner or just remain gently in the present, we can create an experience that feels right for you.
Do you feel like you'd like to discuss any of this further? If so, please get in touch whenever you feel ready.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
If you would like to see if working together would be the right decision then:

Please call, text or send an email with your phone number so that we can establish contact. I like to have an initial and informal call so that we can introduce ourselves.
First Session
50 minutes Free
75 minutes £37.50
Between the first phone call and your first session I will send you a copy of my working agreement and two assessment forms.
We'll begin the first session by discussing formalities before you'll then be invited to start, wherever you feel comfortable beginning. As this can be a little bit daunting for some people, I'll make this as comfortable as possible.
Ongoing Sessions
50 minutes £75
75 minutes £112.50
I offer open-ended therapy. This means you attend for as long as you need to whether that's weeks, months or years.
Some clients require several sessions per week at the start or if they are experiencing a mental health crisis.
The standard arrangement is a recurrent weekly or fortnightly session.
Clients coming to the end of their therapy may wish to reduce the frequency of their sessions, e.g. monthly.
I offer an 'open-door' policy, which means clients who have worked with me previously, are welcome to return, if they need further therapeutic support.
When I work
I offer daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday.
Typically I don't offer sessions at the weekend.
