Further information

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered clinical psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) with over 20 years of experience working with mental health difficulties.

People can experience stress and discomfort with how their life is going. This can be because of past or current experiences or, for some reason they haven't yet been able to identify.

With the right help and support, people can explore their experiences, make sense of them and learn strategies and skills that will help ease their distress, improve their quality of life, and create the future they want and deserve.

Drawing on both Positive and Clinical Psychology, my speciality is helping people make sense of their challenges and find strategies and solutions to manage them more effectively.

As well as improving low mood, depression, self-esteem and confidence, managing emotions more effectively and reducing anxiety, this helps in letting go of distressing past experiences or trauma, breaking repeating cycles and creating a future that they feel hopeful, excited and motivated to create.

We all have the desire and potential to achieve our best possible self. However, sometimes, life events make this journey difficult and obstacles can be put in our way.

With my clients, I help turn confusion into clarity and create a plan of how they can go forward with the skills and confidence to overcome the challenges they face.
