About me
Feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, or unhelpful behaviour patterns? Struggling with negative thoughts, negative emotions, trauma, or relationship difficulties? Using evidence-based therapy, I can help you develop new coping strategies to help you regain control of your life.
With over 20 years of experience and a former Consultant Clinical Psychologist, I specialise in combining Clinical and Positive Psychology to treat a range of mental health challenges.
My approach is person-centred and compassionate. We take into account your experiences and make therapy fit you and relevant to your current difficulties. Having lived experience of mental health challenges and neurodiversity, I understand what it's like to struggle at times and how important getting the right help is.
Please get in touch with me if you want to make positive changes to your well-being. Let's work together to get your life back on track and help you thrive.
Together, we will collaborate to identify your therapy goals and needs. Then, working in an integrative way, we will draw on a range of evidence-based models, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, to help you develop the skills depending on your needs.

Further information
I am a former Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and a registered clinical psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) with over 20 years of experience working with mental health difficulties.
People can experience stress and discomfort with how their life is going. This can be because of past or current experiences or, for some reason they haven't yet been able to identify.
With the right help and support, people can explore their experiences, make sense of them and learn strategies and skills that will help ease their distress, improve their quality of life, and create the future they want and deserve.
Drawing on both Positive and Clinical Psychology, my speciality is helping people understand their challenges and find strategies and solutions to manage them more effectively.
As well as improving low mood, reducing anxiety, improving self-esteem, and confidence, therapy can help us manage our emotions more effectively. This helps use let go of distressing past experiences or trauma, break repeating cycles, and create a future that we feel hopeful, excited, and motivated to create.
We all have the desire and potential to achieve our best possible self. However, sometimes, life events make this journey difficult, and obstacles can come our way.
With my clients, I help turn confusion into clarity and create a plan of how they can go forward with the skills and confidence to overcome the challenges they face.
