About me
I am a trained and accredited counsellor of 19 years, I offer a range of professional services. The diversity and length of experience helps me to deliver counselling therapy confidently. I hope my experience helps all my clients to feel secure that they will have a safe and positive experience, which enables them to achieve their objectives .
I use a range of techniques, but I believe it's the relationship between myself and the client that is of the greatest importance. I pride myself on having an honest and safe approach within this therapeutic relationship. In my eyes, everyone is unique and I tailor therapy to my clients individual needs .My training is very holistic, meaning I appreciate the affect the body can have on our mental health and vice versa .and I incorporate this understanding into our work .
I was inspired to become a therapist after attending counselling sessions over twenty five years ago;. the power of a safe, non-judgmental and professional space to explore life issues can be truly life changing and I was driven to offer this to others in return.
I am based in Cold Blow, Narberth my private work space is a highly discreet dedicated therapeutic space with parking.I also see clients via Zoom, Whatsapp video or Skype. Each session lasts an hour My private workspace is a highly discreet dedicated therapeutic space with parking.
A large percentage of my client base comes from referrals and recommendations from previous clients. I am happy to chat via phone or email to answer questions or to connect before booking an appointment.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

About me
I am a positive and dynamic individual who came to counselling and helping others through my own healing experience . I have learnt that no matter how hard life feels we can always create long term positive change to enhance our life experience .
My other work includes offering mindfulness meditation to business and local schools to foster well being. I work with autism and young people within the school environment to help manage anxiety and build resilience in a ground breaking unique project implemented by myself. Helping school age children to manage themselves in our modern world to prepare them for their future lives and prevent adult mental health issues is a life long passion
working with a range of charities and not for profit organisations.
