About me

Hello and warm welcome. How are you feeling today? What’s your day been like? How’s everything? It’s nice isn’t it to get asked these questions? To feel that someone cares that you exist, support you during the journey and feel like you have been heard. Perhaps, you are feeling low, stuck, going through a difficult time, anxious, scared, depressed, stressed and not sure what the next step is. Perhaps you are trying to find your own solution. The answer is it’s time to look after yourself and you are in the right place because this is the time that counselling can be a significant part of your self-care and self-development.

I am Nakhwan Fell. I am a professionally trained counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am based in Hampshire. I work with adult men and women face-to-face, online and telephone.

I follow the BACP ethical framework. I offer a safe space and work with a non-judgmental attitude, no matter what the issue is. I provide creative, friendly, warm, approachable therapy sessions to support your individual needs and to help you gain new insight and new perspectives to yourself and others. I will work with you for, you to come up with your own solution and to take back control of your life.

Drawing on my own life experience, I can empathise with what it is like to have to deal with change and transition. It can cause a lot of issues, such as anger, anxiety, confusion, numbness, self-doubt, a loss of self-esteem, etc. My passion lies in helping and facilitating people to find their own way to overcome difficulties and enjoy their lives.

You are not alone and I am here to help. Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss how we are going to work together because I do offer free 15/30 minute telephone initial assessment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
