About me

I offer a 15-minute complimentary phone call to establish your reasons for coming to therapy. I like to work with your therapeutic goal in mind and every 4-6 weeks we will have a review to ensure that therapy is fulfilling the therapeutic goal.

Sharing your thoughts and feelings with a therapist can help you in making sense of challenging experiences and support you in personal growth and self-awareness.

I like to work with Intergenerational patterns in mind and I am interested in the messages we receive from the body looking at somatic exercises and breath work supporting you in releasing tension, stress and anxiety. Therapy can facilitate an environment where you feel more able to cope with life’s challenges.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a degree in humanistic counselling. Humanistic counselling focuses on human potential and self-discovery aiming to support the individual in becoming more accepting of themselves and their experiences.

I am experienced In providing relief and support to individuals experiencing family conflict, relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression.

I offer weekly online and in-person therapy based in Crouch End, north London. I offer both short term and long-term therapy. I run a practice open to LGBTQIA’S and differences in culture, religious and spiritual beliefs.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I understand that it can feel daunting coming to therapy and often people can worry about not having much to say. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental environment and provide a therapeutically nurturing safe space.

The first session is an opportunity to discuss the therapeutic goal by talking about your hopes for counselling and focusing on what you feel you need from therapy.

In this session, you can also ask any questions you might have about the counselling process. Each counselling session lasts for 50 minutes and will take place weekly, either online or in person.
