About me

Hi, anxiety and depression are the major causes of sickness and having to take time off from work and study. They are often related to trauma and phobia amongst other problematic symptoms. Fortunately I can treat all these issues, so if you are looking for a way to feel better today, contact me. The human needs approach which I practice has been shown to be fast and effective.

I've been working with people seeking to improve their lives in various ways, for many years, and a few years ago I decided to study psychology at the Open University and then studied the Human Givens approach to emotional well-being. I completed the diploma course which I passed with Merit and then went on to pass the Post-graduate diploma to become a Human Givens practitioner, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

If you come and see me I can help you feel better that very day, even if you are feeling excessively depressed, anxious, had panic attacks, post- traumatic stress disorder, phobias or other emotional problems for a long time. I will also address addictions and eating disorders, low self-esteem, self-harm, poor concentration and poor sleep patterns.

I have taught the Alexander Technique for many years, and also worked with a charity for homeless people and both these occupations have increased my interest in people from every walk of life and in every condition.

I enjoy working with all ages from children, 7 years old is my youngest to date, to the more elderly, 84 years old my oldest.

Myself, I enjoy music, gardening, walking, dancing, singing, reading and lots more besides.
I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren and love living by the sea.

I am a member of the Human Givens Institute and the European Therapy Studies Institute.
