About me

You don’t like yourself much. You sometimes feel terrified of being alone, and worry people wouldn't want to be your friend if they knew the real you. You feel preoccupied with what others think of you, perhaps fearing rejection or judgement. Sometimes you get cross about being taken for granted, but you bottle it up (or explode). Your bad moods tend to linger and it can be hard to quiet your self-critical voice. Your life seems to have gone off track. You can sometimes feel ungrateful or self-pitying for not enjoying life more.

I help people with low self esteem, anxiety, low mood, trauma, & peer or relationship issues to feel confident, like themselves more, understand and express themselves, reduce avoidance, and feel closer to and supported by others.

You may have experienced parental invalidation and neglect, childhood trauma or abuse, parental mental health difficulties, parentification, bullying, or other forms of childhood adversity.

I work with adults of any age.

As a psychologist, I am highly trained and have particular expertise with young adults and students, childhood adversity, people pleasing and loneliness, disconnection and depression.

You may have tried another therapy like CBT which didn’t quite get to the root of the problem.

You may feel frustrated that “I keep making the same mistakes” despite your best efforts.

I offer therapy to think about your relationships in depth and work on practical solutions to help, with online sessions that fit around your schedule. Clients appreciate my friendly, straightforward approach. Visit my website today for a free 20 minute consultation to tell me about you, and hear how I can help.

*I have availability for April 2024*
