About me
My approach to counselling is to work with each of my clients with genuine curiosity and have an interest in their unique journey. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than leaving them feeling heard, validated and empowered to take on life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I regularly work with clients struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety and relationship issues. I have a particular interest in working with grief and domestic abuse survivors.
I offer face-to-face, online and telephony sessions within my private practice and I also work at a local counselling service commissioned by the NHS. I am qualified in the person-centred approach.
I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to bring your whole self to. I understand that every person's experience is unique to them, and I work hard to create a safe and welcoming space where my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged or misunderstood.
I understand that coming to counselling can be daunting for some people, and I do my best to put my clients at ease. I am happy to address any questions or concerns you may have so you can get the most out of the counselling space.
Often when we get to a point of seeking counselling, it's because we're at a point where our minds feel overwhelmed and tangled, struggling to find clarity amidst the chaos. I'm here to help untangle those thoughts, offering support and guidance as you navigate through life’s challenges and find a clearer path forward. I look forward to connecting with you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The sliding scale is designed to make counselling affordable for people with different financial circumstances. I understand that everyone’s situation is unique, so this approach allows you to receive the support you need without undue financial strain.
If you're in a position to pay closer to £60, it helps to support those who may only be able to afford £40, ensuring I can continue offering flexible rates to all clients.
There's no need to provide proof of income or justify the amount you choose. I trust that you'll select the rate that is right for you, and this is an entirely judgement-free process.
If your financial situation changes over time, you're welcome to adjust the amount you pay. My priority is to provide ongoing support in a way that remains sustainable for both of us.
If you have any questions or concerns about the sliding scale, please feel free to discuss them with me. I want to ensure you feel comfortable with the arrangement.
