About me

Evolve Therapy Services aims to offer affordable and effective counselling in Medway for adults and teenagers in a beautifully comfortable conservatory in Walderslade Wood, Chatham.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their framework to ensure a safe and ethical practice for you.

My person centred way of being enables you to achieve your goals and explore elements of self in a safe and confidential space- free of judgement. I offer an empathic environment to walk your journey with you, so you can feel heard, listened to and understood. In an accepting environment, we can explore how life is for you, understand your feelings on a deeper level and look at any issues which may be affecting you.

Sessions can be short term, or long term, all depending on your needs. In order to book in for an initial session, or if you'd like to know any more about me, counselling or the process, please contact me via email, text or telephone...  I am here to support you, through expressing your feelings, in the hope to achieve a happier and brighter future.

Training, qualifications & experience

My Qualifications are:

  • CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  • CPCAB Level 3 Counselling Studies
  • CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
  • ABC Level 5 Working with Children and Young People
  • ABC Level 6 Diploma Working with Children and Young People
  • Diploma in Hypnotherapy

I have been a counsellor at MMK Mind, working with common and complex mental health concerns, such as anxiety and depression.  I have a lot of experience of working with teenagers in secondary schools and have had an established private practice since 2019.

I attend additional courses for continuous professional development.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
