About me
In life we can experience many difficult times and the thoughts, feelings and reactions that accompany them can be terrifying and confusing, which can make us feel foolish and very isolated. Many of our issues and traumatic past & present events can cause anxiety & panic attacks which can impact greatly on our day to day functioning & put pressure on our relationships with; family, partners, children, friends, work and self.
When your mind feels cluttered with indecision and you don't know which way to turn, it may be hard to keep focus on just getting through each day. Together we can explore all of your dilemmas. I am here to support you through the fog, and help you to learn different techniques such as Self Compassion & Mindfulness to enable you to enjoy life again, where you can work to feel more contentment and see your way ahead with more clarity.
What to expect in your counselling session
As your counsellor, I can offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, free from external pressures, where our growing therapeutic relationship could enable you to build trust and confidence once again. This allows you to express your fears, and provides you with the ways to explore and develop your own awareness of implementing positive changes within your life.
How I can work with you
My main approach is Person-Centred and I work in an integrative way, combining various therapies including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Techniques into our sessions. Which means I draw upon a range of therapeutic techniques, that are tailor made to suit your individual needs and provide the tools to help you relax and lessen your anxiety through your journey of self discovery and guide you emotionally to a better place.
I work with a wide range of clients and we can work together long or short term, to find solutions to your dilemmas.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
