About me

My experience enables me to offer effective, individualised, psychological care. Treating a number of mental health issues and providing a neutral ground to children, teens, individuals, families, and couples.

The focus is to help individuals heal, energise and become aware of their inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns and customising a treatment plan.

My promise is to be there for you every step of your journey. The goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

My theraputic journey started, working with survivors of domestic abuse and has since given me a passion to work with and support clients who have suffered trauma, and attachment disruption.

I am an integrative therapist with a wide range of skills to provide effective therapies to adults and children; from Person Centred, CBT, and Psychodynamic approaches.

I have experience working with families in therapy in order to repair attachment issues. Providing a sense of safety and stability for all, in order to work together to resolve conflict and/or attachment related issues.

I also have extensive knowledge and experience in supporting survivors of domestic abuse & early childhood trauma.

I have experience working with teens who are struggling with attending school, anxiety, self-harm and social issues.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
