About me

I am an open-minded and experienced psychodynamic and IFS therapist offering sessions for adults.

If you find yourself often 'stuck in your head' overthinking things, feeling low, overwhelmed or anxious please feel you can get in touch with me, my practice can help.

I offer a compassionate yet dynamic therapeutic approach to help you navigate and process the unprocessed to help you unburden and deepen the relationship you have ultimately with your Self and with life in general.

I welcome all enquiries and  open-ended therapy.

More about my Practice

In session we often focus on existing issues you are experiencing. You are encouraged to talk about whatever is disturbing you or upper most in your mind . I listen intently and seek to help the unique parts of you feel validated and understood, to identify emotional patterns, behaviours, inner conflicts and the blind spots that may be playing a role in any challenges you are facing.

How my Practice can help

My intention is to help you to empower yourself. Together we explore your experiences to gradually resolve how they affect you so you feel you can function more freely and become more aware of yourself and your own resourcefulness.

Although at times it can feel painful to address the challenges which present themselves to you, I will be emotionally engaged and available to support you.

When we pay attention to our 'inner' world, permit ourselves to witness our thoughts and feelings in all of their expression, to heal from the inside out, our 'outer' world can shift to reflect the changes we have made within.

The content of our work together is confidential.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
