About me

I am a fully qualified and experienced therapist. My therapeutic practice is grounded with a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic training. Alongside this more traditional talking therapy I employ a compassionate yet dynamic approach integrating IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy and energetic  healing psychology methods. The work will reflect and integrate aspects of these modalities depending on the requirements and the desire of the individual.

I welcome all enquiries and I work specifically with adults. I offer open-ended and shorter term counselling catering this towards the needs of the individual.

More about my Practice

In session we often focus on the existing issues you are experiencing in the present. You are encouraged to talk about whatever is disturbing for you or upper most in your mind . I will listen intently and seek to help you understand your Self and the parts of you, to identify patterns, behaviours and mindsets which may be playing a role in the challenges you are facing.

How my Practice can help

The intention is to help you to empower yourself, so you can make more sense of your life experiences from the past, which together we can explore, to understand how they are effecting you in the present. This can lead to deeper insight and understanding about Self which can facilitate healing and growth.

Although at times it may feel painful to address the challenges which present themselves to you, I will be emotionally engaged and available to support you.

When we devote our attention to our 'inner' world, permit ourselves to explore our thoughts and feelings in all of their expression, to heal from the inside out, our 'outer' world can shift to reflect the changes we have made within.

The content of our work together is confidential.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
