About me
I’m Dr. Jennifer Vaughan, a Clinical Psychologist passionate about neurodiversity and mental well- being. I have a particular passion for understanding those who may mask their neurodivergence, particularly in settings such as school or work, where individuals may experience considerable burnout without others being aware. I’ve worked extensively with individuals of all ages, helping them understand and embrace their neurodivergence. My journey began with a psychology degree at The University of Sheffield, followed by a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The University of Manchester. I later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology at The University of Glasgow and have pursued further specialist training with a Postgraduate Diploma in Autism and Other Neurodevelopmental Conditions.
At JV Psychology Services, we are dedicated ADHD specialists and Autism specialists, providing compassionate and neuro-affirming assessments for individuals of all ages—from young children to adolescents and adults. We understand that every neurodivergent person has unique strengths and needs, and our goal is to offer a respectful, supportive, and insightful experience. Our Autism diagnosis and ADHD diagnosis assessments follow the latest NICE guidelines, ensuring a high standard of care. Each assessment is conducted by a team of HCPC-registered professionals with extensive experience in both the NHS and independent practice, including a Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, and Occupational Therapists.
