About me

Are You Looking for Neurodivergent-Affirming Support?
Were you recently diagnosed as neurodivergent, thinking that a diagnosis or medication would change everything, but you still feel overwhelmed, stuck, or "too much"? Maybe you're still on an NHS waitlist and need support right now. Or perhaps you're not interested in an assessment but know you’d benefit from support to make sense of things.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults, especially ADHDers, AUDHDers, and autistic people, helping them understand themselves, identify and break unhelpful patterns, and build a life that works for them. My approach is neuro-affirmative, meaning I don’t see neurodivergent traits as problems to “fix” but as natural differences in how people think and experience the world. That said, life can feel hard when systems aren’t designed for you, and that’s where our work together comes in.

Working with me can help you with:
Overwhelm, burnout, & emotional regulation
Perfectionism, self-doubt, & rejection sensitivity
Motivation, focus, task initiation, & other executive function related things
Sensory sensitivities & managing energy levels
Navigating relationships, work, and life transitions

How I Work:
My approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) - but only in ways that actually feel helpful. I also integrate insights from movement and nutrition, recognizing how deeply connected mental and physical well-being are.

Sessions might include structured reflection, creative exercises, and simple, personalized strategies to try between sessions - all at a pace that works for you. This isn’t about forcing neurotypical solutions onto a neurodivergent brain; it’s about finding what fits.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
