About me
Holistic & Trauma Informed Counselling for Creatives, Professionals & Individuals Navigating Anxiety Stagnation and Survival mode.
Do you feel constantly "on," yet completely paralysed when trying to move forward?
If you are navigating a high-pressure career or a creative industry, it is easy to get trapped in a cycle of over-working and exhaustion. Often, we don't realise we are reaching our limit. Instead, it shows up as:
- Persistent Anxiety & Stress: Feeling physically on edge or unable to fully switch off.
- Imposter Syndrome: A constant, underlying fear of being "found out" or underachieving.
- Mental Fog & Fatigue: Staring at screens, struggling to make decisions, or feeling creatively blocked.
- Stagnation: Wanting things to change, but feeling entirely powerless to take the first step.
But here’s the thing: you don't have to believe everything your brain tells you when you're exhausted.
I provide a warm, holistic space for those who don't fit into a standard, rigid box. You don't need a cold clinical checklist; you need a safe, grounded space to quiet the noise, process past stress or trauma, and reclaim your clarity.
Alongside my private practice, I am deeply proud of my specialist trauma work with a local charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse. The profound resilience of the clients I meet there heavily inspires the gentle, deeply safe, and trauma-informed care I bring to my private practice.
I understand that past trauma often shows up in our present lives as chronic anxiety, over-working, perfectionism, or a feeling of constantly being on high alert. Whether you are processing a specific past event or trying to understand a general sense of anxiety and stagnation, my purpose is to help you safely reconnect with yourself so you can truly thrive.
How We Will Work Together:
I don’t believe therapy should be a rigid, one-size-fits-all process. I focus on meeting you exactly where you are and working in a way that actually fits how your brain processes the world.
As a passionate self-care advocate, I focus heavily on helping you build a life that actually feels good to live. In our sessions, we usually focus on three key areas:
- Practical Self-Care (Where we start): True self-care isn't just bubble baths,it’s the foundation of your well-being. We will look closely at your sleep, hydration, and daily habits, and collaborate on a realistic routine that actually fits your lifestyle.
- Calming the Noise: Stress and anxiety aren't just in your head, they live in your body. We will look at simple ways to help you physically unwind, tune into where you hold tension, and manage chronic overwhelm.
- Working Creatively: If just sitting and talking feels a bit stuck or limiting, we can use creative tools. I love using metaphors, drawings, images, or objects to help you map out what’s going on inside.
The Practical Details:
How We Meet: Most clients choose flexible Online Therapy sessions for convenience. However, I also offer flexible Face-to-Face sessions in Petersfield at a beautiful wellness centre (subject to room availability).
Who I See: I work with individuals of all genders, aged 17 and over (my current clients span from age 18 to 72).
Dogs, Film & Pink Hotwheels:
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll usually find me lifting weights at CrossFit, walking my dog, or watching cars race. To balance out that high energy, I visit local galleries, host cozy retro movie nights, or add to my beautifully niche collection of pink Hot Wheels cars.
These aren't just hobbies, they are how I actively practice the self-care and balance I advocate for. I believe in living an authentic, slightly eclectic life that honors your unique passions, and in our work together, I’ll encourage you to do exactly the same
Your Next Step:

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
If you decide to move forward, we’ll set a schedule that actually works for your life. I offer sessions both in-person in Petersfield and online. Whether we meet weekly or at a different frequency, the goal is to build a steady, reliable rhythm. Before our first full session, I’ll provide a clear working agreement so we both know exactly how we’re going to work together.
The Space: My commitment to you is a space where you don’t have to perform or "have it all together." We’ll work at your pace, moving through your story as you’re ready. While we’ll do a lot of talking, I’m also open to using more creative ways of working if you find that words aren't enough to describe what you're feeling. My focus is always on what helps you find clarity and build the resilience to move forward.
