About me

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or loneliness? Perhaps you're struggling with low self-esteem and finding it hard to move forward. If you're nodding along, please know that you are not alone.

With compassionate curiosity, I'll guide you through the process of exploring your inner world. This is where we uncover patterns, understand your story, and gently confront what's holding you back.

Many people face challenges that can leave them feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of their path. Maybe you're carrying the weight of past trauma, or you often find yourself prioritising others' needs over your own.

Healing takes courage, and it's a profound act of showing up for yourself. Together, we'll work towards building self-compassion, developing healthy coping mechanisms, improving your relationships, and ultimately, finding your way back to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

As a trauma-informed therapist, my job is to create a safe, truly warm, and confidential space where you can let down your guard, explore what's happening inside, and finally feel seen and understood. With an open heart and compassionate curiosity, I'll guide you as you embark on this incredible journey of understanding yourself, one step at a time:

  • Discovering and accepting all parts of yourself.
  • Building self-compassion and self-care.
  • Developing healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Improving your relationships and navigating life's challenges.
  • Overcoming anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
  • Boosting your self-esteem and confidence.

I offer a complementary initial consultation so we can discuss your needs and see how I can best support you. Let's work together to help you find your way back to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness." — Brené Brown

My Approach:

A Wholehearted Perspective: I believe therapy is about honouring your entire story – mind, body, and spirit – because it's all connected. We'll explore your unique experiences, the values that guide you, and how you genuinely navigate the world. It's about seeing all of you, not just the parts that feel broken.

Trauma-Informed Care: Stepping into vulnerability takes immense courage, and my commitment is to create a space that feels unequivocally safe and deeply respectful. As a trauma-informed therapist, your comfort and pace are paramount. Every session is tailored to your needs, ensuring you feel empowered throughout our work together. We go at the speed of trust.

Your Journey, Your Voice: This isn't about me having all the answers; it's about your unique wisdom. My approach is truly person-centered, meaning we'll work collaboratively. You're the expert on your life, and together, we'll clarify your goals and forge a path that truly resonates with you.

Experience:
Beyond my private practice, I have the profound privilege of working with a respected charity, supporting individuals who have experienced sexual trauma. This work reinforces my commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care and deepens my understanding of resilience.

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy options, because your journey is unique, and we'll find the structure that best supports you.

My Own Well-being:
I believe that to show up for others, we must first show up for ourselves. Outside of my practice, I prioritise my own self-care by walking my beloved dog, immersing myself in nature, cultivating meaningful relationships with my friends and family, and staying active. It's how I stay grounded and bring my most authentic self to our work together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

How we'll work together:

If you feel we could be a good fit, simply get in touch to arrange your complimentary initial consultation. This is our first step to discuss your needs and explore how we might work together.

Once we proceed, we'll establish a consistent, mutually agreed-upon day and time for your sessions each week, whether in person from Petersfield or online via Zoom. Before our first session, I'll send over my working agreement to ensure clarity and build a strong foundation of trust.

My promise is to create a safe, warm, and judgment-free space where you can truly be seen, understood, and fully express yourself. We'll always work at your pace, especially in the initial sessions as we get to know your unique story. While therapy is deeply personal, I also believe in exploring different avenues for healing. Where it feels right for you, we might use creative methods like diagrams or drawings to deepen our understanding and navigate challenges together.
