About me

I am an integrative transpersonal therapist focusing on issues with self-esteem, anxiety, life transitions and topics around love, relationships and intimacy. My trauma-informed and empowering sessions support you in moving beyond your past and embodying new possibilities in life, career and relationships.

Have you been been feeling stuck, empty or unfulfilled, or anxious, activated and restless? Or are limiting beliefs and low- self-esteem holding you back from living the life you dream about? I can support you in moving beyond your past patterns, anxiety and challenges to find more clarity, ease and a sense of direction and empowerment in your life.

Sometimes, we do not even know why something seems "missing" from our lives or causes anxiety, depression and unease.  Regardless of what brings you to work with me, my passion is working holistically and compassionately at depth to find the underlying cause of someone's trauma, anxiety, lack of meaning, low energy, or feeling of "being stuck".  In addition, I support you in learning tools and practices for inner work and practical tools to manage anxiety, overwhelm, somatic symptoms, low energy, and nervous system dysregulation.

My life and work focus on a holistic therapy approach that includes the full range of human experience - our shadows, imperfect, messy humanness, traumas and wounds and inborn yearning for meaning, love and authentic self-expression.

Often, family, friendships, or romantic relationships are the biggest sources of suffering and feelings of lack in people's lives. I know how hard it can be to relearn to trust and open our hearts again after painful past experiences, difficult childhood or abusive relationships.

I belive that traumas and challenges are not separate from our growth process or signs that something is "broken" or "unlovable", we just have not yet had a container to fully hold and integrate these experiences and see the transformational and healing power.

I practice an integrative psychotherapeutic approach called psychosynthesis. This modality draws on psychoanalysis but looks at both a person's history and psychological challenges and also growth, and movement towards an authentic, meaningful life. My approach integrates powerful tools and knowledge from modern research and body-focused therapies into a simple format.

My sessions are a grounding and friendly space to move beyond limiting beliefs, anxiety, relational challenges and old patterns and create a sense of empowerment, hope, ease and long-lasting change.

I work with people from all walks of life and specialise in working with:

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
