About me

Hi, I am Georgia, a BACP registered counsellor, offering you a safe place to talk about the struggles you are facing.

Everybody is unique and has their own way of processing their inner world and struggles. I understand that discussing your mental health can be a daunting and vulnerable experience, therefore creating a space which is empathetic, trusting and free from judgement is how I work. I regard myself as a humanistic integrative counsellor with all the work we do being completely centred around you, taking it entirely at your pace and adapted to you. I offer a range of ways of working, from simply sitting and talking to expressing yourself in creative ways. Our counselling work is a place where you can feel seen and heard.

If you would be interested in working with me, please contact me to arrange a time for a free initial phone call.

Training, qualifications & experience

I believe that each person is unique, with their own way of processing their experiences and challenges. I understand that talking about mental health can feel overwhelming and vulnerable, which is why I’m committed to providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore what’s on your mind at your pace.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals through a variety of struggles, including bereavement, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, self-harm, identity issues, low self-esteem, postnatal depression, and more.

As a neurodivergent counsellor, it’s important to me that you feel safe, seen, and understood, which is why I work to create an inclusive and affirming environment. I have years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals in both therapeutic and educational settings, which has helped me develop a flexible and adaptable approach that meets a variety of communication styles, with creative tools always on hand. I know that traditional counselling isn’t always the right fit for everyone. That’s why I offer flexible options like walk and talk sessions as well as online sessions, alongside the more traditional sitting and talking.

I also have significant experience working with women, particularly in addressing the emotional impact of chronic health conditions like Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, as well as supporting those on their fertility journey.

This is your space to be heard, supported and empowered as we work together toward a sense of balance and healing. My role is simply to be beside you, offering guidance and understanding while you explore what you’re going through.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
