About me

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply exhausted by it all? You’re not alone and you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. Counselling can be a gentle space to untangle your thoughts, express yourself and feel truly heard. We can meet face to face, walk and talk outdoors, or connect online from the comfort of your own home. Starting counselling can feel daunting, so we’ll go at your pace, with warmth, empathy, and absolutely no judgement.

In my practice, I support people through grief, trauma, anxiety, and life’s challenges with warmth and empathy . I work with women with health conditions such as PCOS, offer an neuro and LGBTQ+ affirming space. As a neurodivergent Counsellor with ADHD and Epilepsy, I welcome different ways of thinking, feeling, and communicating - where you don’t have to mask who you are and understand the importance of adapting sessions to suit you.

Reaching out for support can sometimes feel daunting, and that’s completely normal. I offer a no-obligation phone call to answer any questions, ease worries about what to expect, and give you a chance to learn more about me and see if we’re a good fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including bereavement, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, self-harm, identity exploration, low self-esteem, postnatal depression, and more.

I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals in both therapeutic and educational settings, which has shaped a flexible, adaptable approach that honours different communication styles. I also incorporate creative tools where helpful, recognising that traditional counselling doesn’t suit everyone. Alongside face-to-face sessions, I offer online and walk-and-talk sessions to provide greater choice and comfort.

I have particular experience working with women, including supporting the emotional impact of chronic health conditions such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), as well as those navigating fertility journeys. I also work with parents - especially those raising neurodivergent children - offering space to explore the emotional load, identity shifts, and burnout that can come with parenting.

This is your space to be heard, supported, and empowered. My role is to work alongside you with care and understanding, as you explore your experiences and move towards a greater sense of balance and healing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
