About me

Hello, and Welcome.

Life can throw us curve balls, last year being a huge one!

Are you struggling with anxiety or depression or maybe things have just gotten too much? Is there maybe some deeper trauma or loss your dealing with. It can be really hard to talk to family or friends without feeling a burden.

We all struggle sometimes and we can need some time alone. Other times we need someone to listen.  Here at Start of the Beginning you can express all your thoughts and feelings safely. In a comfortable and confidential space, without judgement.

Your safety, physical and emotional well being is at the heart of my practice. I offer a safe, relaxed, non-judgemental space. For you to explore all your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
It can be hard to talk to those closest to us especially about those darkest fears and thoughts. Talking through all your feelings and emotions can have a positive impact on your life.
Its important that you find the right counsellor for you.
Having a genuine bond with your therapist makes a massive difference to the therapeutic outcome.
I believe given the right conditions, with the right counsellor, you can find your own answers and the best way for you to move forward.

I offer one to one confidential and therapeutic counselling.

MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
