Hello, and Welcome.
Sometimes we struggle, it maybe things have gotten too much of there maybe some deeper trauma or loss. It can be hard to talk to family or friends without feeling a burden. Or in some cases ashamed or embarassed.
We all struggle sometimes we need some time alone. Other times we need someone to listen. Here at Start of the Beginning you can express all your thoughts and feelings safely. In a comfortable and confidential space, without judgement.
Who am i?
My name is Gaynor, qualified counsellor and mum of four with one child on the spectrum with SEN. Deciding to train as a counsellor after struggling to get him a diagnosis and feeling alone without adequate support.
I took a level 3 course in understanding individuals on the spectrum to benifit myself and my family. The learning i gained from this was invaluable.I am a qualified person centered therapist, trained also in Cognitive behavioural therapy.
At Start Of The Beginning, I offer a one to one confidential therapeutic integrative counselling.
Your safety, physical and emotional well being is at the heart of my practice. I offer a safe, relaxed, non-judgemental space. For you to explore all your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
It can be hard to talk to those closest to us especially about those darkest fears and thoughts. Talking through all your feelings and emotions with the right counsellor can have a positive impact to your life.
I believe given the right conditions, you can find your own answers and the best way for you to move forward.
My practice is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Daytime and evening appointments available.
