About me

I offer a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe and deeply connect with your vulnerable self. When this connection is made, it can bring us to a profound self-discovery where the most intimate emotions, thoughts, memories, and wounds can arise and be processed.

I believe therapy is a space where you can remove the different ‘masks’ you wear during your day-to-day life and give space to whatever is behind. I will support you in exploring your thoughts, beliefs, views, and feelings which will lead to more self-awareness, understanding, and compassion.

I truly believe we all have the answers we seek and being in a supported and safe space we will allow them to arise.

In my sessions, I work in a personal-centred way where values such as empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity are at the forefront. Since I am an Integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches according to what seems to fit you, your challenge, and your stage of life. I use tools from CBT, Psychodynamic, Coaching, and Mindfulness.

I strongly believe in the power of the mind-body connection, and I use somatic tools that I draw from Mindfulness, Breathwork, Bioenergy, and Embodied Psychotherapy. Somatic psychotherapy is about accessing and using information from your body and your nervous system to increase your self-awareness. All emotions and thoughts have a body connection, and in therapy, we learn to discover what that connection is about. We might also use a combination of somatic tools to safely liberate emotions trapped in the system at the root of emotional pain.

I also offer a safe space for heterosexual and same-sex COUPLE who are encountering difficulties in their relationships. I like to see the ‘relationship’ as a sacred space where its well-being can positively affect different dimensions of our lives. Most of the time, lack of communication and expressions of own needs can lead to frustration which can be detrimental to this ‘sacred space’. In therapy, I create a container where the couple would feel listened to and understood. Hopefully, in this container, both of you would feel safe enough to express this frustration and give voice to your most intimate needs. Together we will process emotions that are ‘swept under the rug' and find alternative ways to face difficulties when entering the relationship

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
