About me
I offer a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe and deeply connect with your vulnerable self. When this connection is made, it can bring you to a profound self-discovery where your emotions, thoughts, memories, and wounds can arise and be processed.
I believe therapy is a space where you could remove the different ‘masks’ you wear during your day-to-day life and give space to whatever is behind them. In a safe and supportive space, I will support you in exploring your thoughts, beliefs, views, and feelings, which will lead to more self-awareness, understanding, and compassion.
I am practising as an integrative psychotherapist, and in my approach, I draw on a range of methods according to what seems to fit you, your challenge, and your stage of life. I use tools from CBT, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness. Also, I have completed a vast range of training to explore the mind-body connection and how to use it therapeutically. It led to a specialisation in trauma therapy, integrating modalities such as embodied psychotherapy, ERT (emotional release therapy) and somatic therapy with the focus on releasing traumatic memories from both body and mind.
Training, qualifications & experience
Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of roles across primary and secondary care, as well as within charitable organisations.
My journey began in the NHS, where I supported individuals living with severe and enduring mental health challenges. From there, I moved into the role of domestic violence advocate, offering both emotional and practical support to those impacted by abuse. I then returned to the NHS as a health and wellbeing coach, walking alongside clients as they worked toward meaningful, life-enhancing goals. I now work full-time as a psychotherapist, with a specialisation in trauma and somatic therapy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
