About me

My name is Fedra (She/Her). I'm here to support you in whatever it is you're going through.

I have worked with a wide range of problems and no topic is off-limits in therapy. So I ensure to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your difficulties with me. Whether you want to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns and your relationships. Whether you have more urgent issues, or self-destructive behaviours which are causing you distress. Whether you’re battling depression and anxiety. Everything is welcome between us. I will walk alongside you to enter your world. To see, listen for, and feel what is unique to your struggle. And to find out what is getting in the way of you living a more joyful, authentic and meaningful life. Together, we will explore and experiment with new ways of being. Which will open up new possibilities in your life, and bring about the change you might be desperately seeking.

I’m an integrative therapist which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches. I believe one size doesn’t fit all.  I work relationally which means I value the therapeutic relationship - our relationship. I believe it is integral to our work together. I understand you might be seeking such a relationship. But I also understand how connection might be difficult for you. I have been a client too. I can relate to that experience as well. It might feel daunting to talk about your life struggles with a stranger. It might feel frightening or make you feel vulnerable. But it can also be transformative and rewarding. Healing and freeing.

I qualified as a therapist at the Minster Centre in London, which is one of the leading institutions in Europe for psychotherapy training. I have worked with people from various backgrounds and with different presenting problems. I have also worked with organisations offering low cost therapy to various communities. My work is grounded in empathy and warmth. But it is important for you to get a feel for how I work and decide if I'm the right therapist for you. Which is why I offer an introductory session. Please get in touch for further information.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified at The Minster Centre in London. I continue to engage with training and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to keep my knowledge up to date and to further develop as an effective therapist.

I have worked with people from various backgrounds and with different presenting problems. I have also worked with organisations offering low cost therapy to various communities.

I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to BACP’s Ethical Guidelines.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

I offer introductory calls via Zoom. The fee is £40.

I offer a few spots at concessionary rates. Please contact for details.

Further information

I work both in-person and online.

Our work can be open-ended. We can also agree on a fixed period (usually 12 sessions). I work with individuals over the age of 18.

It is important you find the right therapist for you. Which is why I offer an introductory session via Zoom. This takes longer than the usual 50 minute format. In this session, we explore further what has brought you to therapy and this will help me assess what our work would entail. If you decide to move forward, we agree on a date and time, and whether we will be online or in-person.
