About me
Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BA, MBACP), working with individuals and couples/poly or open relationships, currently working exclusively online. Queer and Trans* Centred, non-judgemental, neurodivergent accessible sessions and a sliding scale.
These times of change have left a lot of folks questioning aspects of themselves and their patterns, in relationships, in community and in themselves. My clients and I co-create accepting and safe spaces to explore parts of themselves, as well as difficult feelings, their history, and their experiences of anxiety, depression or stress.
I work with a broad range of clients from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as LGBTQI+ clients, and with folks of all genders, including trans, non-binary and GNC people.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, providing a confidential, inclusive and nurturing space for my clients to explore themselves.
Alongside my private practice I volunteer for ELOP in Walthamstow, as an LGBTQ+ relationship counsellor. I believe that it is important to develop greater access to affordable therapeutic services to support marginalised communities growth, and help them manage challenges. I’m strongly invested in anti-racist, autonomy centred, transcultural, queer, fat positive and kink positive practices.
I am an accredited registered member of BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. This means that I work within their Ethical Principles and adhere to the Professional Occupational Standards, ensuring that I practice therapy within a rigorous ethical framework.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
