About me

'The beauty of life is, while we cannot undo what is done, we can see it understand it, learn from it and change... so that every new moment is spent not in regret, guilt, fear or anger but in wisdom, understanding and love'. JE.

Most people experience times when external support becomes needed to go through difficulties or distress.

I trained with the Karuna Institute in Devon, Doing two diplomas in mindfulness in relationship before embarking on the Masters.

In Core Process Psychotherapy both therapist and client are engaged in a joint healing process. In a compassionate and emphatic field, there is a developing awareness of how our history can limit us in our daily lives and relationships and a shift from identification with conditioned self is the start of the healing journey.

As part of my training, I have volunteered on a dementia ward and an acute mental health ward. I have trained as a Cruse Bereavement Volunteer, been a supervisor for Cruse Volunteers, worked for Mind in Wiltshire, used to work as an associate for Taunton Counselling Services and now only have a private practice.

I have worked with people suffering from depression, anxiety, bereavement, loss. emotional, physical and psychological abuse, neglect, trauma, sexual abuse, people having relationship issues, people suffering from low self esteem and confidence.

Training, qualifications & experience

I embarked on a Masters in Core Process Psychotherapy after having been a dairy farmer for 20 years so my connection to the earth and ground is strong.

I am accredited with UKCP through being a member of ACPP (Association of Core Process Psychotherapists) and abide by their codes of ethics.

I also have a diploma in ADHD Awareness.

I have been seeing clients for the last 12 years coming for a variety of issues, short term and long term and have quite a lot of hours under my belt.
