About me

I am a Cognitive Behaviour and Integrative Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher and I specialise in anxiety, stress, depression and low self worth.

I'm very compassionate in nature and I combine the latest CBT techniques which includes Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness for a very holistic approach. Basically, it means I have lots of training in different approaches to tailor-make to your requirements and help you work towards your goals.

Heavily backed up by scientific research, CBT is the must-have psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, anger management, work stress and more.

I only work with adults usually from 20 years+ as it's a very educational goal-directed and structured type of therapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I finished my training over 9 years ago at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, based in London and Bath.

  • I hold a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in CBT/REBT
  • Integrative Advanced Diploma in CBT/REBT
  • Certificate in Mindfulness Teaching from Mindfulness Now

CBT - Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Further information

I've found that most people who come to see me are struggling with some form of anxiety or stress, low self worth and/or depression (which they quite often don't recognise until we complete an inventory!) Worrying about what people think about them, anxious about social events, stressed at work, struggling to juggle everything and taking it out on family members, angry at the injustice of it all, feeling worthless and a lack of hope and teary. These are just some of the things that are creating problems in their lives until they come to see me and we create a shift by developing a rational, helpful mindset!

With a strong desire to change and in need of some support, we work together using the latest CBT techniques to create the changes that you wish to make.

I will empower you and train you to become your own therapist so you won't need me anymore. We finish the therapy when you are thinking and behaving in a calm, rational way. You feel happier and stronger. I realise how difficult it is to take the first step as I've been there!

As an empathetic person by nature, I believe I come across as warm, friendly, compassionate and non judgemental. I find clients open up to me very quickly as they trust I have their best interests at heart.
