About me
As an integrative, humanistic, psychodynamic counsellor, I merge various therapeutic modalities to offer comprehensive support. My practice is built on a foundation of compassion, believing in the inherent capacity for growth and healing within you.
Cultural awareness is paramount, as I deeply value and honour your diverse background, experiences, and identities. By embracing your cultural differences, I ensure that my therapeutic approach is inclusive and responsive to your unique and individual needs.
My humanistic approach places a strong emphasis on the importance of our therapeutic relationship and your self-exploration. I believe that each individual possesses an innate drive towards personal growth and self-actualisation. Therefore, my role as a counsellor is to create a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions freely.
Integrating the psychodynamic approach, I delve into the unconscious and conscious aspects of your childhood experiences, helping you uncover underlying conflicts, patterns, and core beliefs that may be influencing your current struggles.
Additionally using CBT techniques and mindfulness practices will enable you to identify and challenge negative patterns of thinking and behaviours, empowering you to cultivate healthier coping mechanisms and achieve your goals. Also promotes self-awareness, emotional regulation, and living in the present moment, enriching your overall well-being.
The integration of these approaches will allow you to experience profound shifts in self-awareness, understanding, and acceptance. Through self-exploration and reflection, you will develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your life circumstances. This increased insight can lead to enhanced self-esteem, improved interpersonal relationships, and greater overall well-being.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
