About me
Relationship Living – Sex & Relationship Therapy for Modern Lives
About Me: Founder and Director of The Relationship Lounge in Sheffield
As a sexologist and relationship therapist—also known as a psychosexual therapist and counsellor—my aim is to create an open, compassionate space where people can explore their intimate concerns without judgement. I work with individuals, couples, and multi‑partnered relationships, respecting all sexual orientations, identities, sexual preferences and consensual practices.
Many people come to me when they are experiencing sexual difficulties, emotional disconnection, or complex relationship patterns that feel hard to break. Together, we explore what can be changed, what can be understood, and how to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I am a sex‑positive therapist with more than 25 years of clinical experience, bringing a grounded, reality to every session. People contact me from all walks of life as I am now recognised nationally and internationally in helping couples that are neurodiverse or living with someone who is neurodiverse create harmonise and satisfying relationships.
My enhanced training included two additional years of specialist training in sexology, deepening my understanding of human sexuality, intimacy, and relational dynamics. Clinical sexology is the therapeutic field that integrates psychosexual and relationship therapy—supporting people in both their emotional and sexual wellbeing.
Specialist Therapy for ADHD, Autism & Neurodiversity
I am a specialist in providing Relationship and Intimacy therapy for adults with:
• ADHD
• Autism or both ADHD & Autism
• Late or recent diagnoses
• Self‑identified or suspected neurodiversity
I support many neurodiverse couples, whether both partners are ND or one partner is neurotypical. Many couples come to me navigating high conflict, communication differences, or the impact of trauma, where they find intimacy has diminished from their relationships or self, or they have mismatch sexual desire challenges. My approach is affirming, practical, and tailored to the unique ways neurodiversity shapes connection, intimacy, and daily life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
