About me

Hello, I'm David and I specialise in sex and relationship therapy. As a gay man I offer a perspective that brings deep empathy and sensitivity to my practice. I work with a diverse client group including individuals and couples, providing support on a wide range of themes from sexual anxiety, problematic porn or sex use, relationship challenges and everything in between.

My approach is rooted in empowering clients to gain insight into their behaviours, understand underlying reasons, and facilitate positive change. With a diverse toolkit of techniques, I tailor sessions to meet the specific needs of every individual or couple.

Some of the themes I work with:

  • Sexual Anxiety
  • Erectile Difficulties
  • Premature and Delayed Ejaculation
  • Sex Addiction / Compulsive Sexual Behaviours
  • LGBTQ Issues
  • Chemsex
  • Shame
  • Relationship Problems such as Loneliness and Dating Challenges
  • Low Desire
  • Kink
  • Anxiety and Depression

I also offer support for concerns related to sexual trauma and living with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV.

I am a couples therapist, offering support for a wide range of relationship concerns including:

  • Infidelity
  • Communication Issues
  • Sexual Challenges within the Partnership(s)
  • Intimacy Issues
  • Consensual Non-Monogamy and Alternative Relationship Structures

I provide both online and in-person therapy sessions from a cosy and inviting space in Clapham North. This flexibility ensures that clients can opt for the mode of therapy that aligns best with their preferences. Whether you prefer the convenience of online sessions or the warmth of face-to-face meetings in a contemporary setting, my goal is to create an environment where you feel supported and empowered to embark on your journey of healing and growth.

Training, qualifications & experience

I currently run a busy private practice. Prior to this I have had the privilege of working with some of the UK's leading sexual health organisations, such as the 56 Dean Street sexual health clinic and Controlling Chemsex. Additionally, I possess extensive experience in counselling children and young people who have experienced trauma.

I'm a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, and I am a member of the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). I hold a postgraduate diploma in clinical sexology and relationship therapy and a certificate in counselling skills and practice from the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS). I am degree educated and I also co-own an education and training business.
