About me

Life's challenges often hit us when we least expect it, leaving us feeling shaken and unsure of how to move forward. As a male counsellor specialising in supporting men* through tough transitions such as bereavement, redundancy, divorce, abuse, and bullying, I understand the pressure to keep emotions bottled up and put on a brave face. But burying those feelings only adds to the burden.

In my practice, I provide a safe haven where men* can drop the armour and explore their emotions without judgment. I get it – vulnerability isn't easy, especially for us guys*. But I'm here to show you that it's okay to let those walls down, to talk about the pain, the confusion, and the uncertainty. Together, we'll work through the tough stuff, building resilience and finding strength in the process.

We'll dive as deep into your struggles as you wish to go, unpacking emotions and finding practical ways to navigate through them.

Whether you're grieving a loss, reeling from a job setback, or wrestling with the fallout of a broken relationship. Together, we'll chart a course for healing and growth – no judgment, just support.

My practice is tailored to men* who struggle with vulnerability and find it hard to express their emotions. If you're tired of going it alone, if you're ready to break free from the "tough guy" facade and get real about what's going on inside, I'm here to help. No judgment, no pressure – just a safe space to be yourself.

*Whilst I specialise in counselling men, my practice is open to every gender and non-binary clients. If you struggle with vulnerability and want support then you are in the right place.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
