About me

I am an MSc Art Psychotherapist and I am trained in Dyadic Art therapy. I run a private practice online and I am based in Scotland. I offer online individual Art Therapy sessions to children, young people and adults. I also offer Dyadic (Parent/Carer - Child) Art Therapy sessions.

My approach is of a warm, welcoming and down to earth nature. I place value on being able to adapt our sessions to what your own needs might be. To get to know me a bit and how I work I offer a free 15 minute online consultation. Please see the link for my website for any further information.

Art Therapists help to support a person to use art materials for self-expression and reflection. Art Therapy is not about being good at art, you don't need any previous experience in art to participate in Art Therapy. The purpose is to facilitate change and growth in a safe environment. It allows for a process of healing to take place through emotional expression. Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses visual art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, visual art journaling and many more. It is suitable for anyone and can benefit individuals who are experiencing a range of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical difficulties.

It is about discovering the self, who you are and healing the wounds from the past.

How to get started with me
I offer a free 15 minute online consultation for us to first meet and chat about what your needs are, answer questions and talk about how I can best support you/your child. Then if you wish to book in we'll meet either in person or carry out Art therapy online over Zoom weekly or fortnightly.

Training, qualifications & experience

I currently have a private practice online, and run an Art therapy service for a community arts charity in the West of Scotland. I have over a decade of experience working with children, families and adults within the third sector.

I hold a Masters of Science in Art Psychotherapy, I am registered with the British Association of Art Therapists and The Health and Care Professions Council.
