About me
A little bit about me and the way I work.
My name is Daisy. Thanks for considering me on your journey. I’m a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, practicing in the East Midlands and online. My approach is compassionate, caring, and empathic, and I am passionate about supporting individuals to recognise their potential and fulfill their goals, both personally and professionally.
It is my belief that with the right relational conditions, every person can make the positive changes they would like to see in their lives. Through my experience, I have seen the healing nature of the therapeutic relationship, often acting as a powerful vehicle for personal growth. Taking the first step to see a therapist can be daunting, and I aim to make that move as comfortable for you as possible – offering a warm environment, where I will always hold the space for you and anything you choose to explore.
How I can help you
Whether you would like to work through relationship issues, an unresolved trauma from the past, feelings of anxiety, stress, or depression, whatever it may be, we will address these challenges together at a pace and rhythm that feels right for you.
We all deserve to feel accepting and nurturing towards ourselves, and I hope to facilitate this within a space that feels comfortable for you. Things may feel hard now, but the trusting relationship between me, the therapist, and you, the client, can be one of the greatest facilitators for long-lasting change.
What to do next
So that you can get a good sense of me and the way I work, I will provide you with a free introductory call. This also allows me to hear a little bit more about you and what you've been experiencing. Then we can decide how to best support you and move forward together. If you would like to know more please contact me via email or telephone.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
