About me

I’m a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who has additional training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

I’m passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of other LGBTQ+ people.

I’ve worked in mental health for the past 10 years. I began my career as a support worker before completing my social work masters in 2016. I was a social worker in Manchester for 5 years before retraining as a psychotherapist during the pandemic.

I'm also currently training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Long Term Conditions/Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS).

I am a reluctant runner, gluten free baker and proud dog Mum!

I am also the founder of the National NHS Talking Therapies LGBTQ+ Champions network and the chair of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) LGBTQ+ Special Interest Group.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am trained and fully BABCP accredited in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Level 2.

I am completing Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) training.

I am also completing training to specialise in long term conditions and MUS.
